WINGSPAN BIRD TOKENS

Designed as a playful upgrade to the standard action cubes used in Wingspan, these wood bird tokens transform a simple game component into something more thematic and memorable. Unlike other bird token sets that represented specific species, I created a unified illustrated bird design in the game’s five player colours, keeping the focus on clear player identification rather than individual bird types. The artwork was refined and simplified through multiple production rounds to improve clarity, colour vibrancy, and manufacturability while preserving the birds’ charm and personality. The final tokens are chunky, expressive, easy to recognize from across the table, and designed to stand, stack, and add a little character to the gameplay experience.
