WINGSPAN FOOD TOKENS

The Wingspan resource tokens began as a personal upgrade project for my own copy of the game. I designed the five food resources in Illustrator and built the first prototypes by hand using laser-cut wood, painted finishes, and printed artwork applied to both sides. After sharing the prototype with the Wingspan community, the response was overwhelmingly positive, which led me to pursue mass production.
 

Developing the product involved sourcing overseas manufacturers, resolving production challenges, refining the size and finish based on customer feedback, and creating premium retail packaging that reflected the quality of the product. The final packaging uses a clear poly bag with a glossy header card, allowing the tokens to remain visible while presenting them in a polished, branded format. The tokens have since become the flagship product of Momo Monster Co., with multiple production runs and well over 100,000 tokens produced across the food and nectar lines.
